I have worked with this company in both commercial and residential services. I can say that I don't have a single complaint. Guys are great and the gal in accounting is awesome. For my personal house, they arrived within 2 days of my call. Fixed us right up. Tech was professional and very friendly. Door seems to be working fine.

All the people at Overhead Door of Rapid City are the best. I've been working with them for a few years on all of our building projects, and highly recommend them. They've traveled to install and service doors for me throughout the Black Hills... from north of Huelett, WY to south of Edgemont, SD - west of Newcastle, WY to near Chamberlain, SD. They have many trucks on the road and work hard to get you taken care of asap. I wouldn't call anyone else to work with for overhead doors!

If I could give them more stars I would BEST PEOPLE EVER!! Here is why.. PLEASE READ ALL CONSUMERS: I know you are reading other reviews as well BUT they are actually really truly a genuine company. Our one door ( two separate doors with TWO SEPARATE INSTALLS FOR SOME REASON) installed by a different company completely failed and I mean the op bracket came out of the wall!! Of course during the holiday season when original company was closed. So because of the emergency we called these guys. James the tech came out the very next day and fixed the install! Thank you James!! After that due to the fact that the install was incorrectly done in the first place I tried to speak with the original company to cover what James repaired as I believe any good standing company would fix their install. NOPE. I did call OHD had a misunderstanding with Rebecca and I was a complete B to her ( our contract paperwork said they did the install BUT THEY DID NOT!!!) Anyways the next day after figuring the mess out I apologized to Rebecca as she deserved it and we worked together and she is a freaking Saint! She ended up helping me with the bill for the other companies faults. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!! ALSO will be using them from now on!!

We had James as our tech. He tried to get the old motor to work but it was beyond repair. He installed the new opener, tightened and adjusted the door hardware. The new opener works great. The price was exactly what was quoted.

They came right out when my garage door broke to get my truck out, came a couple days later and installed a new door. Very nice quite door. Very satisfied.

They were one of the only companies to answer my call and the only company that actually was able to follow up with me and get a time scheduled to fix my garage door, and they came the same day. The gentleman was quick, efficient, and even fixed something else without asking/charging.

Recently purchased a house and needed to replace the lower garage door seals and they were only available at overhead door. Customer service was great and sold me exactly what I needed.

Great Experience! After a mishap with our garage door we called a couple local companies for estimates. Pete came over right away, measured, and gave us an estimate on the spot. We found them to be fairly priced and they had our door in stock (while the other company’s wait time was 4 to 6 months). Our door was fixed within a week, most of it was waiting for our homeowners insurance). Our new door looks great, and runs smoothly and quietly. I don’t understand the bad reviews here because my phone call and emails were always answered and their service was great! Thanks Overhead Doors!!

Excellent! One of my cables broke due to rust, so I called and a tech was able to come out and repair my crooked door the very next morning. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable, and he had made all of his adjustments and swapped out the broken parts in less than one hour. I will definitely call OHD of Rapid City again the next time I need any garage door services!

The people who work here are fast efficient, and do a great job. Our motor went out on a Sunday Night, a phone call at 8 AM was answered and a technician showed up within an hour. A new unit was replaced by Wednesday by a hard working friendly tech. Everybody should use these people.

Excellent service! I did have to get on a waiting list but that is OK, wasn't an emergency. I was first on list for today and they open at 8, I got a call before they even opened telling me they would head to my house as soon as they got out of shop and were here by 8:15. Super nice guys and they took one look at it and knew what was wrong, got the job done quickly so I could get to work myself! Garage door works like a charm now, couldn't be happier with the service.

Stopped in to have the cup on one of my torsion springs replaced. They were friendly, helpful and completed the repair quickly and inexpensively. Highly recommend!

Solid, friendly customer service. Justin & James came out and reprogrammed all of the cars, keypads and even sprayed the doors with lubricant to keep things working smoothly.
